Welcome to a pleasant workplace with colleagues who have extensive experience and a strong commitment to our students in the adapted primary school in Vaggeryd municipality!

The adapted primary school is located at Fågelforsskolan 1-9 in Skillingaryd. Fågelforsskolan consists of two schools; f-6 and 7-9, but the adapted primary school is a cohesive school organization and is organized with five classes. The classes are distributed according to grade levels and whether the student is studying subjects or subject areas. Each grade level has its connection to the primary school/after-school care and the EHT team.

The staff have a base placement based on the grade levels, but collaboration occurs during the school week. Teachers and student assistants work closely together during the school day.

The adapted primary school has joint subject conferences and APT both with the primary school and in the adapted primary school, focusing on developing teaching with students' learning in focus. GGVV has a collaboration during the school year where teachers from different municipalities learn together. In the adapted primary school, there is a coordinator/special teacher who works comprehensively throughout the municipality and with Fågelforsskolan 1-9.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position includes mentorship, planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching for our youngest students. You will have close collaboration with colleagues in the work team and the student health team. You will also have an active collaboration with guardians to create the best conditions for each student's learning and development.

We expect you to contribute to the work team's joint development work, where the quality of teaching and students' learning is the focus. You will have the opportunity to participate in the school's systematic development work and in subject didactic forums, where we together analyze, test, and develop teaching.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a teacher with experience working with children with special needs. A teacher or special teacher in the field of special education is particularly meritorious. We seek someone who has a strong commitment to the students, possesses good collaborative skills, and develops teaching together with colleagues.
